Premium Payments
When you make premium payments through gettrueinsurance.com, these funds are sent directly to the insurance carriers. This means any refunds for premiums are handled solely by the individual refund and cancellation policies of those carriers. gettrueinsurance.com does not directly process or issue refunds for these premiums.
Service Fees
Certain service fees (like administrative, consultation, or processing fees) might be eligible for a refund if:
- You submit your refund request within 7 calendar days of payment.
- The service hasn’t been fully provided, or was only partially delivered.
Refunds typically aren’t available for:
- Services that have already been fully completed.
- Customized policy work that has been finished.
- Fees for policy submission and processing.
Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved, we’ll generally process it within 10–15 business days from the approval date. Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method, unless we’ve explicitly agreed on something different.
Cancellation-Related Refunds
If your policy is canceled and the insurance carrier approves a prorated refund, that refund will be disbursed according to the carrier’s own schedule and method. Please know that gettrueinsurance.com isn’t responsible for any delays or denials from carrier-issued refunds.
